Ashley Kemp
Founder & Chief Executive
Ashley is the founder and Managing Director of Kemp Fabrications Ltd. With over 25 years of hands-on experience as a fabricator and welder, Ashley brings a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to every project. His commitment to high standards and attention to detail has been the foundation of the company’s success and reputation.
Starting his career as an apprentice, Ashley has worked across a variety of sectors, honing his skills and building a deep understanding of all aspects of metal fabrication. He’s passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship and believes in leading by example, working alongside the team on the shop floor (when required) to ensure every job meets the highest standards.
Ashley is known for his down-to-earth approach and no-nonsense attitude. He takes pride in the strong relationships he’s built with both clients and staff and is always looking for ways to grow the business while keeping the company values at its heart.
Nesli Akkus
Managing Director & Head of Accountancy
Nesli Akkus is one of the driving forces behind Kemp Fabrications, serving as both a
Managing Director and our Head of Accountancy. With a sharp eye for detail and a deep commitment to financial integrity, Nesli plays a critical role in ensuring the business operates smoothly and sustainably behind the scenes.
Known for her focused, and practical mindset, Nesli brings a wealth of expertise and discipline to the company. Her leadership ensures that all financial matters are managed with precision, transparency, and complete professionalism. Though she keeps a low public profile, her influence is deeply felt across the business, her high standards and strategic thinking have helped shape the foundations of Kemp Fabrications’ continued growth and success.
Nesli’s commitment to excellence inspires the wider team and guarantees that everything we do is backed by rock-solid financial stewardship.
Sabrina Kemp
Office Coordinator
Sabrina is the friendly face that keeps the office running smoothly at Kemp Fabrications Ltd. Sabrina is new to the world of fabrication but bringing a wealth of experience from over 17 years in the NHS! Most recently in stroke rehabilitation, Sabrina has a real passion for people, organisation, and keeping things on track behind the scenes.
With her calm approach, incredible communication skills, and can-do attitude, Sabrina is already proving to be a perfect fit for the team. She’s always ready with a cheeky giggle, a positive word, and more often than not, a steady supply of tea, chocolate biscuits, or ice creams when the weather calls for it. (We suspect she might be a secret feeder, but no one’s complaining!)
Eager to learn and committed to supporting the continued growth of Kemp Fabrications, Sabrina brings heart, humour, and a whole lot of passion to everything she does.
Carl H
Foreman Plater/Welder
Carl is our highly skilled Foreman Plater/Welder and a key part of the Kemp Fabrications team. With a strong background in metal fabrication and years of hands-on experience, Carl plays a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations on the workshop floor.
Known for his precision, reliability, and can-do attitude, Carl takes great pride in his work and leads by example. He’s passionate about delivering top-quality results and making sure every job meets the high standards our clients expect. Whether he’s tackling complex fabrications or mentoring younger team members, Carl brings focus and leadership to every project.
As our trained first aider, Carl also plays a vital role in maintaining health and safety in the workplace, he’s especially passionate about ensuring all team members always wear the correct PPE, helping to create a safe, professional, and efficient working environment.
Respected by the whole team, Carl is the go-to guy when you need a steady hand, a practical solution, or a bit of honest advice. His dedication and work ethic make him an invaluable part of the Kemp Fabrications family.

Welder
Lee is a talented and hardworking welder here at Kemp Fabrications Ltd, bringing precision, consistency, and a solid work ethic to every job he tackles. With specialist training and certification to Welding Execution Class 2, Lee is trusted with delivering high-quality welds that meet strict industry standards, making him a vital part of our fabrication team.
Focused and dependable, Lee takes pride in his craftsmanship and attention to detail. Whether he’s working on structural steel, bespoke fabrications, or complex assemblies, he always ensures the job is done to the highest standard, safely and efficiently.
Quietly confident and committed to doing things right the first time, Lee’s steady approach and technical ability make him a highly valued member of the workshop team.
Louis H
Plater Welder
Louis is our youngest team member at Kemp Fabrications Ltd, but don’t let his age fool you, he’s already proving to be an incredibly talented and skilled plater/welder. With a natural aptitude for precision work and a strong desire to learn, Louis brings fresh energy and enthusiasm to the workshop every day.
Despite being the youngest member of the team, Louis has quickly earned the respect of his colleagues with his dedication, quick progress, and willingness to take on challenges. He’s a shining example of the next generation of skilled fabricators, and we’re proud to have him growing and developing with us.

Linkon
Apprentice Fabricator/Welder
We’re excited to be welcoming Linkon to Kemp Fabrications Ltd as our new Level 3 apprentice! Currently studying at Barnsley College, Linkon is combining hands-on experience in the workshop with formal training in welding and fabrication.
As a company, we’re passionate about passing on skills to the next generation, and Linkon’s apprenticeship marks an important step in that commitment. We’re proud to support his journey and look forward to helping him grow into a confident, capable fabricator.
Linkon is already showing enthusiasm, curiosity, and a great attitude, and we can’t wait to see him develop and thrive as part of the Kemp Fabrications team.
Dora Chorizo Kemp
Office Dog
Every good team needs a mascot, and at Kemp Fabrications Ltd, that role belongs to Dora, our much-loved office dachshund. Affectionately known as our “little sausage dog,” Dora may be small, but she has a huge personality!
She takes her role very seriously: greeting visitors with a wagging tail, boosting team morale with her cheeky charm, and keeping a close eye on snack breaks (just in case there’s a spare treat going). Dora’s favourite things in the world include walkies, belly tickles, and curling up in a cosy corner for a well-earned nap after a hard day’s work supervising the office.
A loyal companion and an essential part of the team, Dora brings a smile to everyone’s face, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Kemp Fabrications Ltd are experts in steelwork fabrication and engineering. With over 20 years of experience, we continuously providing a high quality and competitive service to the construction industry. We aim to implement the latest procedures to ensure that client’s evolving requirements are satisfied.
Capacity
Fabricate over 35 tonnes of structural steelwork per week
Accommodate assembled steelwork of up to 20m in length
Undertake steelwork lifts of up to 5T using our overhead crane
Certified to BS EN 1090
We employ one Responsible Welding Co-ordinators that is an integral part of the daily rigorous checks we undertake. Furthermore, we are certified to BS EN 1090. All works are carefully programmed to ensure that Client delivery schedules are achieved

Health and Safety
Health and Safety is a top priority for everyone at Kemp Fabrications Ltd. Our fabricators and welders are all trained in the following key skills needed to safely deliver high-quality steelwork safely. To ensure our ongoing commitment to safe working practices, we have in-house expertise that monitors working practices daily. We are also supported by an external Health and Safety Consultant who carries out independent audits on our procedures.

Our steelwork undergoes thorough fabrication quality checks to ensure it meets our high standards and is supplied ‘Right First Time’ to our Client’s requirements. We typically work to the National Structural Steel Specification (latest edition). All our steelwork is supplied with a ‘Certificate of Conformity’.
